Some things that determine cost:

Number of photos or other graphics that are required

If you'll be selling products on your site and whether you'll be
adding those or we do. What customizations are required.

If you need forms for collecting information and if it requires an
automatic reply to your customer.

What you envision for the look and feel of your site.
Make a list of sites you like and what you like about each.

What, if any, special functionality are you interested in?
This would be anything outside of the overall design and basic
construction. Flash, message forum, members only area, videos, photo
gallery, poll, etc.

Will everything you provide be sent electronically or do print
catalogs and photos need to be scanned?
